DA NANG – Where to drink and eat (Part 2)

Certainly, you will be curious at local food while you travel to somewhere, Da Nang as well. Here is the list local restaurants I have tried when I lived there. I wish it will be useful to your trip.

1. Co Gio clam porridge – Hai Ba Trung street, Cam An, Hoi An (nearby An Bang Beach)

This hot porridge is very tasty to diners which is cooked with green beans, topped with a lot of fried onion and pepper powder. The clams are quite big and delicious, sweet, fresh thus this dish is impressive to countless people. In addition, Ms. Gio also sells pork-bone porridge which is mouthwatering as well.

2. Quan Co Hong – 103 Nguyen Van Thoai and 118 Huynh Thuc Khang

Serving delicious dishes in Da Nang such as pork rice paper, banh xeo, fish salad, Quang noodle and others at affordable and reasonable prices.

3. Seafood restaurants:

In fact, Da Nang is a coastal city thus seafood is a signature food with variety kind of dishes and tons of seafood restaurants as well. The list below I would like to recommend because of their quality, their price where the local people prefer to.

  • Quang Chip Chip: T-junctions Ho Nghinh street: this one is made by Mr. Quang who is a fisherman a long time ago. There are some dishes you can refer such as steam chip chip (a kind of clam), grilled rays, grilled pipe-fishes and others. Just one thing to notice that the restaurant is really really local and simple.
