“Meet yourself” at Lo Lo Chai Cutural Village

At the foot of Lung Cu National Flag Tower, the country’s north pole in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, there is a miraculous village, which is often depicted in legends. Its name is Lo Lo Chai.

The village is nestled in the rocky plateau of Ha Giang Province and considered one of the most remote villages in the north of the country. Visitors to the village can easily spot the flagpole, which is about 1.4km away.

A sightseeing from Lo Lo Chai to Lung cu National flag Tower

Back to the past, I visited Lo Lo Chai village on this Tet holiday when we had many days to be out of working. Literally, it took 9 hours to transport from Hanoi to Dong Van Dist. including 140 km from Ha Giang city with tons of amazing loops. Surely, that is the scared and excited feelings when going through passes and loops.

Lo Lo Chai Village warmly welcomes us by cold weather but fresh air which recharges my batteries after a long road. Apparently, there are only 104 houses in this village that all houses are maintained the old style of Lo Lo people. Even though, they do tourism businesses such as homestay, coffee shops and others that maintaining their own custom is the most important in their lives.

Frankly, this small village is stunning every seasons. And I luckily visited in the spring which peace blossom is coming to. The most interesting is that almost houses have at least one peace tree in front of their gate, tons of flowers buds open slightly to greet everyone.

Besides, pear flowers are also blossoming in each street of the village. If you like hiding yourself in a quite corner wherever you drink a local tea pot and see both pear and peace flowers.

Otherwise, local people are so friendly to tell you about the history of their tribe and also introduce their hand-made products which are heritages since their ancestors.

As the matter of fact, the road to Lo Lo Chai is quite tough because of various loops however it brings you to eager with conquering. Beside Lo Lo Chai village, there are many marvelous places in Ha Giang where are waiting for your discovering šŸ™‚
