Traffic jam whenever it is rainy in Hanoi

Traffic jam

Hanoi, when rainy comes, all streets are traffic jam at the rush hour. As your seeing my shot here, each person, each group rides motorcycles, rides cars to follow each other. I must take 2 hours from my office to my apartment though only 10 km, that’s a frequent issue whenever it is rainy.

Lotus – Vietnam’s national flowers

From childhood , we have known by heart the folk song and the lotus flowers are alike to Vietnamese people’s symbol.

” Trong đầm gì đẹp bằng sen,

Lá xanh bông trắng lại chen nhị vàng,

Nhị vàng bông trắng lá xanh,

Gần bùn mà chẳng hôi tanh mùi bùn”

In English, we can temporarily translate as below

In the pond, the lotus flower is beautiful

Green leaves, white flowers, yellow stamens

Yellow stamens, white flowers, green leaves

Near mud but it does not stink like mud.
